Standing room only for NDP PEI event

Standing room only tonight at the Charlottetown & area nomination event. The energy was inspiring.

“Our candidates nominated today are community volunteers, teachers, health care workers, young people and small business owners,” says Neill. “They’re everyday Islanders who see firsthand the problems people are facing and I’m proud of the calibre of people who are stepping up to run for our party and for a better deal for Islanders.”

The Island New Democrats have so far nominated eight candidates for the 2023 election. Dr. Herb Dickieson, NDP candidate in District 25 O’Leary-Inverness was the first candidate to be nominated of any Island political party in November 2022.
