After serving as interim Leader for 18 months, James Rodd, an organic farmer from North Milton, was elected Leader at the party’s annual convention in April of 2009.
Rodd brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to role of Leader of the New Democratic Party of Prince Edward Island. He’s been active in the party for many years, most recently as candidate in the district of York-Oyster Bed in the 2007 Prince Edward Island general election. He’s also a former party president.
